Marker Dedicated

MARKER DEDICATED - Monday's overcast sky didn't dampen the spirits of those attending the ceremony. Gertrude Cleverdon (l) was happy that her distinguished ancestor's resting place now has a gravestone. The marker (c) is engraved with the names of the six who died and are buried in the cemetery. The ceremony was the culmination of several months of work by P. Edward Deschenes (r), who thought the victims deserved better than to be lost to history.
