Get Ready to MANGO!
Free with your library card, Mango Languages allows you to learn over 70 different world languages in a fun and interactive way. It prepares learners for realistic conversations and strengthens everyday communication skills in over 70 languages, including English for non-native speakers.
Young children can learn, too, with Mango's Little Pim platform! Little Pim makes learning a foreign language easy and accessible to all kids–at the age they learn best, from 0 to 6 years. Here's a link to Ms. Andrea's tutorial on how you can access Little Pim for your young children.
Mango also has a free app so you can continue your learning on the go! Use it at the library, at home, in the car, in a plane....The world is yours to explore! Download your lesson on Wi-Fi and then you can listen to it, like a podcast, offline. All you need is your library card and password. (Please call the library if you have forgotten your password.)
Log in to your Account on our Catalog page and click on Mango Languages on the Electronic Resources list. Mango will invite you to create a profile with them so you can track your progress in the language courses of your choice, or you may explore as a guest.
Mango also allows you to take language learning to another level with access to over 170 foreign films. Please note that Mango gives an age-appropriateness rating for each film since foreign films don't use our movie rating system, and as in all things online, we encourage parents to participate in their children's online choices. View the video at the bottom of this page to learn more about the Mango Premiere film feature.
