Free video streaming with Kanopy gives you access to thousands of movies, TV series, the Great Courses, and Kanopy Kids (including parental controls).
To get started, visit the Jaffrey Public Library Kanopy website and sign in with your library card number and password. (This is the same password you use for Libby or to sign in to your library account. If you aren't sure of your password, please call us to reset it for you.) Then, create your account. Please note that only one Kanopy account can be linked to a single email address, so if you have multiple library cards in your household, each family member will need a separate email address to have their own account.
From there, you can start watching on your computer or go over to your smart TV or mobile device and download the Kanopy app and log in.
If you are new to streaming, we have a brochure available at both service desks to help you get started, and the library team is also ready to help. Once you get your TV set up, this will be easy! More guides and help videos are available on the Kanopy website's Help page.
Each month, you will receive 15 tickets in your account, which you can use to watch films and TV shows. Each title requires a number of tickets, which is shown next to the Watch Now button (TV series are borrowed in their entirety, not by episode). Your ticket supply resets to 15 on the first day of each month. Kanopy Kids is unlimited use and does not consume tickets.
Thank you to our generous supporters whose donations make this service possible.
