Art. 32 Raise and appropriate the sum of $3,800 (three thousand eight hundred dollars) to Jaffrey Civic Center to help support its ongoing community activities and events. APPROVED
Art. 33 To see if the Town will vote to approve the following resolution to be forwarded to our State Representative(s), our State Senator, the Speaker of the House and the Senate President. Resolved: The citizens of New Hampshire should be allowed to vote on an amendment to the New Hampshire Constitution that defines “marriage”. PASSED OVER
Art. 34 To see if the Town will vote to designate Ingalls Road from Gilmore Pond Road to the Rindge town line as a “Scenic Road” as provided by RSA 231:157. PASSED OVER
Art. 35 To see if the Town will vote to assess a yearly fee of $1.00 per acre on every full acre of land in Jaffrey(, including land) whose owners have requested that it be assessed and taxed at Current Use Valuation (CUV). Proceeds of such fee to be placed in the Jaffrey General Fund and be applied toward reduction of property taxes for all.
