The Coronavirus is presenting us with difficult choices as we seek to stop its spread while maintaining services to our residents. The staff at the Jaffrey Water Department pride ourselves on providing safe clean drinking water for our customers and continues to do so, as well as providing prompt customer service. Our first duty to provide clean, safe drinking water to our customers, the second is to stop this virus from spreading, even where such choices create difficulties, and lower the level of service we can provide. We ask that if you are requesting water turn ons/offs for seasonal homes, that you contact the DPW office to schedule an appointment. All meter change outs, and high usage checks are temporarily on hold. The health and safety of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance, and as such, the Jaffrey Water Department is working to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus by minimizing direct contact between our staff and the public. As a reminder if you are using a higher then normal amount of water to always check the water levels in your toilets. There is information on our water department page to help you with leaking toilets.
For any non-emergency request, we ask that you call the DPW office at 603-532-6521.
