The Town and Carsey School of Public Policy/NH Listens is partnering to facilitate two, 2-hour community work-shops with the Downtown Revitalization Committee that focus on visioning the revitalization of downtown. The purpose of the workshops will be to hold space for learning and common ground conversations about what residents imagine for the downtown after current Department of Transportation construction projects are complete.

Workshop 1 (October 25) - will focus on information sharing and a discussion. During the session, participants will engage in a World Café style conversation with committee members’ support.

Workshop 2 (Nov 10) - will start with a summary of what was shared in the first gathering. Participants will share stories, pictures, videos of the downtown they love; and discuss what could we/do we want to bring to Jaffrey and what is important to keep? This provides information for a conversation about creating a vision of what we would like to see in the downtown (e.g., sidewalk amenities, crosswalks,
information center, new businesses, business expansion/growth).
