Citizen Ride-Along Program

Have you ever wanted to see what it is like to be a police officer?

You now have the opportunity to observe the Jaffrey Police Department at work!

Our Ride-along program allows you to ride with and observe our professional Police Officers on patrol.  You will experience the ways in which different law enforcement situations are handled and gain a better insight into the daily operations of the Department. You will observe our Officers answering calls, enforcing traffic laws, responding to emergency situations and handling other types of calls received during a regular patrol shift.

We believe this program helps our community members to better understand our mission to "Protect and Serve", and fosters mutual understanding, mutual trust, and mutual respect.
